Yesterday we decided to take our 2 dogs to the dog park. On the way we crossed the creek on Pembroke we noticed a group of people on the side of the road some with cameras madly snapping pictures of a bald eagle sitting on a fencepost in the field adjacent to the creek. We went on to the dog park and after about an hour we returned on our way home. The bird was still there and even more cameras were snapping along the road. Bald Eagles frequent the area I even had a pair when I first moved to Reno that used to perch on my deck railing regularly surveying the fields below the house.

This is what they were looking at while he was checking them out.
