Home Computer

This is an actual Popular Mechanics magazine photo from 1954 depicting the home computer. Be sure to read the caption under the photo. The funny thing when I first started working with computers in the mid 1960’s I input stuff via TTY , IBM Punch Cards and Paper Tape and the fortran language mentioned was the first computer language I programmed in.

Funny can anyone today remember IBM 80 column cards or spell EBCDIC or even know what JCL was. I guess I am dating myself a bit.
